CIRCLE DANSE
Electric cabinet, Myyrmäki Sports Park, Vantaa, Finland
Myyrmäki Katutaideriennaali || 08/2024
The Myyrmäki Street Art Triennale id an urban art event held every three years, where Myyrmäki serves as a playground for street art. In August 2024, over 25 new street art pieces were created in Myyrmäki. I was one of the lucky artists invited to participate this year.
My painting, called Circle Dance, is located near Myyrmäki Sports Park, next to Hesburger.
The inspiration for Circle Dance came from movement, music, and community. Every thought and action doesn't begin or end with ourselves; we are in a constant circle dance with one another on this planet. Movement is continuous, both outside ourselves and within our bodies, where the heart pumps and blood circulates, whether we focus on it or not. My painting honors this ongoing connection and movement.
Commissioned by Street Art Vantaa for the Street Art Triennale 2024.
