Elli Maanpää: Teoksessa 'Leap of Faith' olen maalannut alastoman naisen leijumassa ylöspäin käsivarret levällään samalla kun hänen ympärillään pyörteilee vaaleanpunaisia ja keltaisia aaltoja. Hän on avoin mahdollisuuksille, joita maailma tarjoaa. Välillä suurin rohkeus piilee siinä, että päästää irti ja uskaltaa heittäytyä tuntemattomaan. Samalla kun hän loikkaa hän rohkaisee itseään: 'Minä pystyn tähän. Minä pystyn mihin vaan.'
Lopulta se on hänen oma asenteensa, joka täyttää hänen maailmansa väreillä. Joka päivä ihminen luo itsensä uudelleen.
In English: In 'Leap of Faith,' a nude woman is depicted floating upward with her arms outstretched, surrounded by swirling waves of pink and yellow. She is open to all the possibilities the world has to offer. Sometimes, the greatest courage lies in letting go and, as she ascends, she encourages herself: 'I can do this. I can do anything.'
In the end, it is her own attitude that fills her world with colors. Every day, a person creates themselves anew.
