Elli Maanpää: "Kohtaaminen kesäniityllä" heijastaa odotettua jälleennäkemistä. Teoksen punatukkainen nainen kirmaa kukkaniityllä helmojaan pidellen. Hänen katseensa on suunnattu eteenpäin, kohti toisella puolella odottavaa nuorta miestä.
Teoksen taustalla vaaleansininen taivas ja niityn värikkäät kukat kuiskailevat kesäaamusta. Ilmassa väreilee rakkauden odotus, kun nämä kaksi olentoa valmistautuvat jälleennäkemiseen.
Teos kuvailee riemun ja jännityksen tunteita, jotka nousevat esiin kahden ihmisen välisestä odotetusta kohtaamisesta.
In English: "Meet Me at the Summer Meadow" reflects an eagerly awaited reunion. In the painting, a red-haired woman dashes across the flower-strewn meadow, holding the folds of her dress. Her gaze is fixed ahead, toward the young man waiting on the other side.
Against a backdrop of pale blue sky and the vibrant blooms of the meadow, the scene murmurs of a summer morning. The air is charged with the anticipation of love, as these two beings prepare for their rendezvous.
The piece captures the emotions of joy and excitement that arise from the anticipated meeting of two individuals.
