In my painting titled Self-Care, I explore the vibrant hues of pink and red together. I love how these two colors sit alongside each other, with one conveying passion and the other a more innocent kind of love. The piece features a woman embracing herself, her hand delicately caressing her left cheek. She wears an oversized sweater that adds to the comforting vibe of the artwork. She is not posing to please us, but rather to feel herself present in this moment. My signature, 'Elli,' and the year '2024' are written in pink in the bottom right corner. This piece was part of the Ornamo exhibition in Spring 2024.
