"Release" is an acrylic painting I made, inspired by that feel-good moment of self-healing, stretching, and just coming to ease with myself. The figure, in bright shades of orange, pink, and yellow, captures the idea of letting go and being flexible—both in body and mind. As a painter from Helsinki, I love working with vibrant colors to bring energy into my contemporary figurative paintings. This piece is all about embracing those little moments of self-acceptance. My signature "Elli" and year "2024" are marked at the bottom right.
