I’ve always found rain comforting, like soft kisses from the sky. When I was living abroad, I welcomed rainy days, as they gave me a break from always being noticed as the only blonde girl in the neighborhood. Under my umbrella, I found a quiet space to hide and watch the world go by. There’s something soothing about the steady, rhythmic sound of raindrops—perfect for napping. Give me rain, a good book, a wool blanket, and my cat Cocco curled up at my feet, and that’s heaven.
