In April 2022, P-galleria in Pori hosted the solo exhibition ELOSSA / ELOISA || ALIVE / LIVELY by artist Elli Maanpää. This collection of figurative acrylic paintings explored the deep, symbiotic connection between humanity and the natural world. In these vibrant works, lush greenery and living creatures intertwine, creating a world where human bodies sprout from the earth and nature, in turn, flourishes from within them.
The exhibition's spirit was captured in the poetic line: "Oh, cheeky summer. / You're alive / lively color." The success of the show was further marked when one of the featured paintings was acquired for the Satasairaala (Pori Hospital) public art collection, ensuring these themes of growth and vitality remain a permanent part of the local community.
