GARDENERS Elli Maanpää 2019 // Acrylic on canvas In summer I was inspired by the nature’s ability to take care of itself: self-gardening. The plants turn their faces to the sun to absorb energy and when it rains they drink until they drop. These three paintings are called “Gardener Taking a Break”, “Gardener Contemplating” and “Triumphant Gardener”.
