POSTITAIDE - MAIL ART

Suomeksi: Postitaide – MAIL ART on Yhdysvalloista 1960-luvulla liikkeelle lähtenyt taidemuoto. Sen tarkoituksena on että, kaikenlaisia taiteen tuotoksia toimitetaan perille postin välityksellä. B-gallerian Projektitilassa pidetyn näyttelyn koordinaattorina toimi kuvataiteilija KiA Winqvist. Taiteilijoita osallistui näyttelyyn yhteensä 118. Minä postitin näyttelyyn yllä olevan sekatekniikka piirustuksen (A4). Katso teoksen syntyprosessi täällä. Näyttely lahjoitettiin kokonaisuudessaan Postimuseon kokoelmiin, jälkipolville säilytettäväksi.
English: Mail Art, originating in the United States in the 1960s, is an art form where various artistic creations are delivered via postal service. The coordinator for the exhibition held in B-gallery's Project Space was visual artist KiA Winqvist. A total of 118 artists participated in the exhibition. I contributed the above mixed-media drawing (A4) to the exhibition. You can see the creation process of the artwork here. The entire exhibition was donated to the collections of the Post Museum, to be preserved for future generations.
