As I promised last Tuesday here are the photographs from Lähtöviivalla exhibition opening that was held on Monday 27th of October 2014 in S-Galleria Helsinki. The lovely photographs are taken by my companion Vesa Kuula. Lähtöviivalla exhibition contains 25 acrylic-, oil and ink paintings I did while studying in the Pori Unit of Art Department in Aalto University. These works are done during live model sessions and they portray humanity in all its bodily form.
The opening was lovely and great people came despite of the fact that Monday really isn’t the most convenient or traditional day of holding openings. I even had some international visitors and friends that travelled across Finland to be at the opening which was amazing. I got some sweet presents too like flowers and pineapple with a bow. It was beautiful night. And thanks to my dear Vesa I also got these photos to keep my memories fresh.
